And . . . I’m Back!

Helloooooo, world! I’m ecstatic to be back on my blog! It’s been a great hiatus, I got the break I needed and accomplished a TON of stuff. Here’s a list, so you don’t think I was sitting around binge-watching Stranger Things. (Kidding, I don’t watch that show.)

I . . .

• Helped out at a language-immersion camp
• Volunteered at not one, but two Vacation Bible Schools!
• Reorganized my room
• Color-coordinated my bookshelf (inspired by Sam from Redhead With A Book)
• Went on an awesome camping trip with my friends
• Worked on a collab with another awesome blogger (more on that later!)
• Did quite a bit of babysitting
• Welcomed two new additions to my family (no, they’re not babies. Again, more on that later).

So, as you can see, I was quite busy. I feel like it’s been months, instead of less than three weeks.

This summer has been awesome so far. There are a lot of fun things happened up here in Alaska for me, and I’m not going to be any less busy than I was during my hiatus. But I just couldn’t leave you guys for very long. 🙂

I Hate To Do This, But . . .

Hi, everybody. Now, please don’t freak out. I’m not leaving the blogging world or anything!

Deep breaths. Calm down. Good? Okay. Let’s continue.

I am, however, taking a short hiatus. My hiatus will last for three weeks, from June 5-25. It’s just 20 days, I think you’ll survive without me.

The good news is that I will not be completely MIA from WordPress during my hiatus. I will still check my reader and comment/reply to comments during my hiatus. I will just be unable to post.

I’m going on hiatus because summer in Alaska is CA-RAY-ZEE!!! It’s like we Alaskans try to cram as much stuff as possible into a three-month window so we can get everything done we couldn’t during the rest of the year because it was too cold or whatever.

This week, I am volunteering at a language immersion camp. This weekend, I’m going on a camping trip. Next week, I am doing not one but TWO Vacation Bible Schools in the EXACT SAME WEEK. (Could you pray for me, please?) The week after, my family is going on a little vacation. I’m going to be doing a 5K walk/run with my grandma!

So yeah. We’re a little busy.

Of course, it’s not just June. There are the visiting relatives and friends, many camping trips, yard work, etc. But the next three weeks are going to be very very busy, so that’s why I’m hiatus-ing.

This is my first hiatus, guys, and I’m sorry that I have to take one. But there you have it. I’ll miss y’all, but I’ll be back soon!

Oh! And if I have time, Part 3 of The Trials of Tessa will be going up soon, (during my hiatus). 🙂 And when I get back, I’ll be doing a couple of collabs, so you can get excited for those. 🙂
