Soooooooo Many Tags!

Hey guys! I hope y’all are enjoying the summer. (I have to go back to school in a month, which I am so NOT looking forward to.)

In the meantime, I have been tagged – or rather, my dolls and I have been tagged – quite a few times recently, and I thought I’d better hurry up at do some of them. Thank you to everyone who tagged me! If you were tagged by me, please make sure to check which version of the tag I tagged you for, since there are 2 Blue Sky tags and 3 AG Q and A Tags.

the-blue-sky-tag-edit-by-delightfulworldofdolls-com_

First up, the Blue Sky Tag! Thanks, Jewel!

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person that tagged you
  2. Answer their 11 questions
  3. Tag 11 more people
  4. And give them 11 questions to answer

 Here are the 11 questions:

  1. What is your favorite Ice-cream flavor? Argh, this is so hard. It was always French vanilla (Thomas Jefferson’s favorite flavor, by the way) and then it was mint chocolate chip. But now I really love dulce de leche!
  2. Do you prefer to chill with others or by yourself? By myself. I am an introvert, but I am also outgoing. And no, extroverted and outgoing are not the same thing. I love to be by myself, but sometimes I do need my friends.
  3. Are you afraid of heights? Completely! Ferris wheels will be the death of me.
  4. What are your 2 favorite movies? The Parent Trap (the remake with Lindsey Lohan) and The Last Jedi!
  5. What is your favorite TV show? I like Greenhouse Academy quite a bit!
  6. Read or write? How dare you make me choose! I guess . . . reading?
  7. What song have you been listening to lately? “One Foot” by Walk The Moon.
  8. Do you have a hidden talent? I don’t believe so. If I do, I haven’t discovered it yet. 🙂
  9. Are most of your friends around your own age, younger, or older? Most of them are younger than me, because we are involved in a scouting organization for girls and lots of the girls in my group are younger.
  10. How do you feel about Star Wars? I’m not obsessed, but I think it’s a pretty cool series of movies.
  11. Do you like cats or dogs better, and why? 100% dog. I cannot stand cats, they are way too aloof and want YOU to work for THEIR attention. And you’re the one feeding them and, ya know, keeping them alive! Dogs automatically love you,  which is awesome.

Next up, Sassafras tagged me for the Blue Sky Tag! Well, technically she tagged me for the AIO Tag, but I don’t know enough about AIO to do it. Thanks, Sassafras!

I have the rules posted above.

The questions:

Who are a couple of your favorite authors? I love Shannon Messenger’s Keeper of the Lost Cities Series, and then Heather Vogel Frederick’s Mother Daughter Book Club series.

Which book of the Bible do you read the most? Probably Genesis or Exodus. I have read them both a couple of times.

What are your main hobbies? Reading, writing, photography, and petsitting.

Do you prefer cities or the country? Cities, since there is so much going on and fun things to do and see.

Would you rather go barefoot or wear sneakers? I do love going barefoot. When I lived in CA, I wore shoes only 5% of the time.

Do you prefer big stuffed animals or little stuffed animals? Smaller, they are easier to pack.

What camera and lenses (if you have a DSLR) do you use to take your blog photos? I use a Nikon D5000. I use the 30-50 milileter lense (or that’s what my mom said, it’s her camera.)

Do you use any camera equipment? Yes. I have a tripod.

Do you print out any of the photos you take? Not usually. I don’t like having to drive over to Walgreens to get them, and if I print them at home they’re all grainy.

How do you listen to your favorite music? Either on my iPod, computer, or the radio.

What instrument would you like to learn how to play? I already play piano and guitar, but maybe the cello? It seems interesting.

The questions:

  • Do you like hot weather or cool weather?
  • How many pillows do you sleep with? (I know, random.)
  • How many pets do you have?
  • Have you ever been ziplining?
  • Have you every gone surfing?
  • What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?
  • 10 years?
  • 20 years?
  • If you were to cook anything from a foreign country, what would it be?
  • Do you like chicken or beef better?
  • Favorite time period?

Just a Quick Tag!

screenshot-2018-04-08-at-11-59-27-am

Hey guys, just a quick post. AKJaguar tagged me for The Cute Critters Tag! Thank you so much, AKJaguar!

Here are the rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you with a link to their blog: (alaskanjaguar.wordpress.com)
  • Add the picture above in your post
  • Tag at least six other bloggers with links to their blogs
  • Add a link to the original post (https://crazydiysite.wordpress.com/2018/04/08/the-cute-critters-tag/)
  • Answer the six questions
  • Give six questions (animal or pet related)
  • Have tons of fun!

Here are the questions:

Do you have a pet? Do I have a pet? That’s like asking a zoo if it has animals. And no, I do not have a pet. I have pets. And lots of them. Seriously. There are the dogs, Chewy and Archie, the bunnies, Moe, Penelope, and Molly, and our flock of chickens. Not to mention the aquarium full of fish my brother is getting soon.

How did you get your pet? What breed is it? Okay, we’ll start with Chewy. I got him for my eighth birthday, a few months early. He is a Black Lab/German Shepard mix. Archie was a dog we adopted from a shelter back in California after our female dog died. He is a Black Lab/Basset Hound/Dachshund mix. I earned Moe by keeping my room clean for a month. But then we moved (twice) and I didn’t adopt him until a couple years later. Penelope is Moe’s mother. Her previous owner, Moe’s breeder, developed a rabbit allergy and had to rehome Penny. Our other female rabbit, Molly, was a rabbit we adopted off of FaceBook when her owners said she would wind up at the pet shelter if no one took her. The funny thing is, she looks like Penelope’s twin sister! They share a cage, too. Penny is like a mom to Molly, since we adopted Molly as a baby. The chickens we have were hand-raised since they were two days old. The next year we hatched another flock from eggs! Some of them didn’t make it, though. 😦 We gave those away, since they were roosters. And then we got more two-day old ones. They all live in our backyard.

If you don’t have a pet, what is your dream pet? Well, I have pets, but I have always wanted a fox!

What is your favorite animal and why? I love foxes, they are so beautiful and majestic! My others favorites are bunnies (obviously for their extreme fluffiness) and dogs (for their loyal companionship, and playful nature).

Share a funny story that happened to you/pet/or with an animal you saw. Okay, I feel like I have shared this before, but this happened a few years ago at a birthday party. It was a tea party with lots of guests, so there was a ton of food. My mom made mini chocolate Bundt cakes, and we had taffy and jelly beans, too. Immediately after the party, I had a three-hour long piano recital (I wasn’t playing the whole time, though – everybody’s ears would have started bleeding or something. 🙂 and we left the whole mess in the backyard. Well, apparently Archie had been left out for the ENTIRE piano recital. He ate all of the leftover CHOCOLATE Bundt cakes, taffy, and jelly beans – not to mention mini sandwiches and other treats! He went PSYCHO and was running laps around the house all night. It was hilarious, but he survived!

Share a funny joke about animals. Okay . . . where do animals go when their tails fall off? THE RETAIL STORE!!! (No, I did not make up that lame joke.)

This has been fun!

I tag:

And that about wraps this up! Thanks again, AKJaguar! I’ll see y’all in my next post.

The Unique Blogger Award + The 25 Things That Make Me Happy Tag!

Hey guys, what’s up? I am super pleased to announce that I have been nominated for the Unique Blogger Award, thanks to Emma from Dazzling Dollies! Thank you SO MUCH, Emma!!!!

unique-blogger-award

The rules for the Unique Blogger Award are:

  • Answer all the questions asked by the blogger who nominated you
  • Share the link of the blogger who nominated you
  • Nominate 8 to 13 bloggers for the same award
  • Ask 3 New Questions

Okay, here are Emma’s questions:

  • What’s your favorite part about blogging?
  • What’s your favorite TV show?
  • What is the next doll that you want?

My favorite part about blogging is when people tell me that I inspire their own blogs. This makes me really happy! Also, when people tell me that a comment I left “made their day,” I feel very pleased. I love making new friends while doing something I love!

My favorite TV show is Project Mc², even though it is kind of young for me. I also like to watch When Calls The Heart, which is a Hallmark Channel romance TV show.

My next doll . . . well, either Luciana, though I probably won’t get her, or another custom. I have one in mind, maybe to do later this year . . .

Hmm, for nominations:

  • Izzy & Gracelyn @ The Diary of Two Dolls
  • Arabella @ Anything in the Wonderful Life
  • Tori & Bella @ AGsparklesisters
  • Bella @ A Doll’s Life
  • Rose @ A Purpose of Winged Dogs
  • Lizzy @ Learning To Live, Struggling To Thrive
  • Mary E. @ Forever American Girl
  • The AG Homeschooler @ AG’s Wondrous World

You guys get to answer these questions!

  • Do you play any sports? What is your favorite one?
  • Do you have a hard time not checking WordPress every five minutes? (I know I do . . .)
  • Why do you blog?

I know that’s more like four questions, sorry . . .

And now it’s time for the 25 Things That Make Me Happy Tag!

25-things-that-make-me-happy

I was tagged by Enni (although technically she tagged anyone who has flown on a plane and I have done that countless times), so thank you SO MUCH!!!

25 Things That Make Me Happy Are (these are very specific and random things):

  1. Orange-scented bath products (I believe I mentioned this in my Thanksgiving post)
  2. Doing laundry! I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing laundry!
  3. The little noise that plays over the intercom in airports before they announce something like a 20-minute baggage claim guarantee (you guys probably have no idea what I’m talking about)
  4. Swinging at the park
  5. My beautiful coloring Bible with gorgeous illustrations
  6. When the numbers work right when I’m doing math (I am momentarily fooled into thinking I actually LIKE math, ha ha that’s crazy right)
  7. The smell of the air when spring is just arriving (especially in AK, since the air is very clean up here)
  8. Walking out of a plane into fresh air that is 50 degrees warmer than the air you left back at home
  9. Checking 25 books out of the library at once
  10. The library scanning machine that involves placing all the books inside at once and it scans them immediately, so there’s no need to do it one by one. (We have a very high-tech library, and the return system is even cooler – you place the books inside and it goes up the conveyor belt to the ceiling to be returned. I don’t know why I like it so much, because it has caused me to return a couple of books that apparently I was still being charged for weeks later? #technologyproblems)
  11. Cleaning my rabbit’s cage (which I should probably do tomorrow . . . 🙂
  12. Spying on trick-or-treaters who have no idea I’m watching them
  13. Getting up at 6:30 and doing all my schoolwork, though I’m not very happy at the time of doing the actual waking up
  14. The feeling I get when I’m downhill skiing (I LOVE SKIING, even though I just started this year – I was living in California when I was at an age that would be good to start learning at)
  15. Finding out the name of a song I love so I can actually download it onto my iPod
  16. When I FINALLY remember a French word I have been trying to memorize for weeks
  17. Watching people practically kill themselves on America’s Funniest Home Videos
  18. Cleaning my room (I love doing this each week, it makes me feel so organized – which I am so totally NOT)
  19. Animal Farm by Geroge Orwell. In case you haven’t read it, it’s this ridiculous novel about a bunch of talking pigs leading a dictatorship – which is required reading for English class. I would recommend it for ages 13+
  20. Getting new bands on my braces! I have an appointment in about a week, and I don’t know what colors I should get – any color combination suggestions?
  21. Taking aesthetically pleasing (wow, I don’t think I have ever used that phrase before) pictures of my dolls outside. You can’t get aesthetically pleasing pictures with the lighting inside of our house
  22. How the trees look outside once they’re covered in frost in the morning. It looks like we’re living in a magical kingdom
  23. THE MAGIC OF PHOTO EDITING WEBSITES (which I only recently discovered)!!!
  24. The sweetness of the little kids I babysit, who laugh at the smallest things and remind me of more important things in life – like having fun and smiling a lot ❤️
  25. Flying on planes! I totally love it (minus the TSA thing) – especially if I’m flying first class (yes, I have flown that way once)

I tag anyone who has traveled internationally!

Alright, that is all for today! See you all on Thursday (when I will hopefully have Part 2 of The Trials of Tessa up!)

The I Love You Tag

Two posts in one day! Yay! Since today is a holiday, I thought it would be fine if I broke my rule of not posting twice in one day. Besides, this is the last day I could do the I Love You Tag, which was created by the amazing Lizzy! I was tagged for it by both her and Hope . Thank you so much, guys!

img_20180208_2232431704183263

Use the tag image I created!

Link the creator(me) and the original post!

Send the card/tag to 5 or more other blogging buddies! You can send it to me and anyone else that I tag because there are no questions! So no one has to redo a whole bunch of questions! You can just send the card to me or the same people I did and explain why YOU love them!

Thank you to Lizzy!

Here are the people I am thanking for being amazing blogging buddies today (there are so many of you amazing people out there and I could not possibly thank you all so this is an incomplete list):

I cannot thank you enough for all the sweet comments that you leave and your encouragement. Like I have said before, I never thought I would actually make FRIENDS while blogging. Seriously. Uh . . . both?

Next, I was tagged for the All You Tag by Kaylyn! Thank you so much!

Rules are:

Thank the person who tagged you.

Answer the questions. They will always be the same.

Tag 5-10 people.

The questions are:

Do you like school?
Yep, I love school!

What is your favorite subject?
I really enjoy English, Russian, and ASL. My favorite is probably ASL or English.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
It would be great is people would set aside their differences and accept that no two people are going to agree on EVERYTHING. And that’s a good thing! People are offended so easily, and if everyone would just see that, there would be a lot less fighting.

What are some of your favorite memories?
Hmm. My first one is when I got to fly first class on Alaska Airlines. It was amazing. They served us a three-course meal! The second one is at the beach when we lived in California. We put on life jackets and just bobbed up and down in the waves. It was super fun. My last favorite memory is going to the Griffith Observatory in Hollywood and getting our picture taken with the Hollywood sign in the background.

Name one or two embarrassing moments:
Oh boy. Well, once, my friends were over and we were bouncing on my trampoline (in California). We were singing super loudly and all of a sudden, my dad came out of the garage! Since it was right next to where our trampoline was, he had heard our obnoxious singing the whole time. We were super embarrassed.

I tag:

Mary E.

Emma (Dazzling Dollies)

The Blog Dolly

Arabella

Lizzy

Anyone else who wants to do either of these tags in completely welcome to!

I will be doing a Monday post and a Wednesday post next week, since Valentine’s Day is on a Wednesday and not a Thursday. See you guys next week!

The Christmas Tag

Hi, guys. I hope you are recovering from Christmas yesterday, whether that involves coming out of a food coma, cleaning up wrapping paper, or lounging on the couch in your pajamas. 🙂

Jewel tagged me for The Christmas Tag, which I promised I would do yesterday, but I wound up being kind of busy and it sort of slipped my mind. Sorry about that, Jewel.

img_8766-2

Here are the rules for the tag:

– thank the person that nominated you with a link to their blog
– add the picture in your blog (the red one above)
– copy these rules into your post
– add a link to the original post (https://foreveramericangir.wordpress.com/2017/12/21/christmas-tag/)
– answer the ten questions (you can add extra Christmas-related questions if you want)
– tag at least three other bloggers with links to their blogs
– have fun!

These are the ten questions!

What is your favorite thing about Christmas??

I love picking out presents for everyone, wrapping them, and placing them under the tree. Also, I love the spirit of the season and how everyone seems really happy. Plus, there are Christmas parties to go to!

-What is your favorite Christmas memory??

Hmm. Let me think about that . . . okay, this isn’t my favorite memory, but looking back on it is kind of funny. In 2012, I had really wanted McKenna’s loft bed. I was looking through my mom’s email for something (I really wasn’t snooping, I was actually looking for a specific email that pertained to me, I just can’t remember what it was), and I came across an email to our neighbor. Well, since I was much younger at the time and had no self-control whatsoever, I read the email, and as it turned out, my neighbor was keeping McKenna’s bed at her house until Christmas.

Although now that I think about it, that was for Hanukkah.

-Do you have any Christmas traditions??

Yep! We always get pajamas on Christmas Eve, and then wear them while we drive around at look at Christmas lights! It’s really fun!

-What is your Christmas wish??

Well, I really wanted to get a tripod for Christmas, which I did!!!!!!! *squeals*

-What is your favorite Christmas dish??

I make a really yummy pie called a Double Musky pie, plus my dad makes prime rib, which is really good too.

– What is your favorite Christmas decoration??

This year my mom hung garlands above our window and strung lights through them. I looks really pretty. (But of course the tree is lovely too.) 🙂

-Whats your favorite Christmas song?

I love O Holy Night and Hallelujah.

-Where do you usually celebrate Christmas?

In our living room. 😉

-What does the Christmas spirit mean to you?

I think it means to set aside your differences to come together as a big family. Amidst all the hubbub, I think we’re trying to slow down all the hubbub and remember the important things in life.

-Out of anyone in the world would you want to spend Christmas with?

I honestly have no answer to this question. 🙂

Okay, that’s all for the tag. Since Christmas is over, I will tag anyone who wants to do this. Sorry I didn’t get to this yesterday!

The Twelve Days of Christmas, Day #2: Christmas is . . . Time for Tags

Hello, fantastic blogging elves! It’s time for Day 2 of TDOC! Remember when I did that huge tag post last week? Well, do you recall . . . the most famous reindeer of all . . . sorry, nope. Do you remember me saying that I couldn’t do one of the tags until I had my decorations up? Well, if you don’t, shame on you, because I did! MWAH HA HA!!!

Sorry. Anyway, I was tagged for the Holiday Tag by the Blogging Doll Sisters. Thank you guys so much! Here are the rules for the tag:

  • Answer all questions honestly
  • Take at least 5 pictures of your doll or doll-sized decorations for the holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
  • Tag at least 2 other bloggers with doll blogs
  • If you have more than one blog, then DON’T TAG YOURSELF
  • You need to ask at least 5 questions

Here are the questions they are asking me!

  1. How many dolls do you have?
  2. Which holiday do you like better: Thanksgiving or Christmas?
  3. Would you rather have Christmas before Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving before Christmas?
  4. Do you like pumpkin pie with or without whipped cream?
  5. Do you like gravy on mashed potatoes?
  6. Do you open some presents on Christmas Eve, or all of them on Christmas?
  7. What do you think you’re getting for Christmas?

Here are my answers:

  1. I have seven dolls.
  2. Christmas! Thanksgiving has a lot of food . . . but then again, so does Christmas. I love the holiday spirit and cheer. It’s just a great time of year.
  3. I like having Thanksgiving before Christmas, because no offense Thanksgiving, but Christmas is a bigger deal. I like having Thanksgiving because the start to the holiday season, with Christmas at the tail end. (New Year’s: You’re forgetting about me!)
  4. With whipped cream, of course!
  5. Definitely! I had some really good gravy this year.
  6. I open a couple of presents on Christmas Eve.
  7. Well, I know for sure that I’m getting an iPod Shuffle. I won’t tell you how I know this, but I promise it has nothing to do with me. 🙂 I am hoping to get some doll clothes, too.

Those were super fun questions, guys! Now, onto the pictures!

I took a few extra pictures of the doll tree for this purpose.

I really love this one!

DSC_0261

Hang a shining star up on the highest bow . . .

Or zip-tie it. 🙂

Okay, okay, it’s not really a zip-tie, it’s one of those green metal ornament hangers that I unbent and used it to attach the star on.

Excuse me, Crystal, why are you not facing the camera?!

Crystal: Hey , I was distracted. Lindsey was making faces at me. 😦

I hope you guys liked those extra bonus pictures!

Countdown to Christmas: Ten days!

While I Was Away . . .

Prepare yourselves, people. This is going to be one big blog post.

Remember how I had all of my posts scheduled for the month of November? Because of that, I was unable to do tags or awards. Now that’s it’s December, I can do the SIX awards and tags I’ve been nominated for!!!!!

That’s right! SIX!!!

Like I said, long blog post.

However, there is one tag I will not be doing until later on this month. It is The Holiday Tag, and I was nominated for it by the Blogging Doll Sisters. The reason I am not doing it today is because it involves having holiday decorations up and mine will not be revealed for another week or so.

Because I have five entire tags/awards to do, I may not be able to nominate/tag the specified number of people for each one. Sorry about that. I’m aiming to select two-three people for each.

Without further ado, let’s get started with the Blogger Recognition Award!

Here are the rules:

Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
Write a post to show your award.
Give a brief story of how your blog started.
Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
Select (up to 15) other bloggers for this award.
Comment on each blog to let them know you nominated them and provide a link to the post you created.

I wwas nominated for this award by Bella. Bella is a super-sweet blogger, and I love to read her posts! If you haven’t already checked her blog out, it’s definitely worth your time. 🙂

I started American Girls in Alaska right after I finished my previous blog. I really wanted to have a blog, so I got my mom’s permission and started thinking about what kind of blog I wanted it to be about. I was trying to decide between a pet blog or a doll blog when Loren from Happy House of AG inspired me to start a doll blog! I realized how fun it would be to do one.

My two pieces of advice are  . . .

DON’T let blogging take up all of your time. You can easily get sucked into your WordPress reader and notifications bar, replying to comments and whatnot. Get all of your schoolwork/chores done FIRST.

DON’T let other blogger’s blogging styles make you feel like you should change your own. Don’t compare your pictures, writing styles, etc. to yours. You are a unique blogger – don’t change!

The bloggers I choose to nominate are . . .

The Blog Dolly!

and . . .

Twintastic AG!

Congrats, girls!

My next one is a tag. It’s called the Fall Themed Tag, and I was nominated for it by The Blog Dolly. Thank you so much, Jenna! Jenna has an awesome blog that just got a new customization, so definitely go check it out. 🙂

Here are the rules:

onlinelogomaker-102817-1426-2800-1

These are the questions Jenna is asking me:

Q: What is your favorite fall drink?

A: Vanilla Chai tea. I drink this year round, but it seems to fit best for fall.

Q: Apple cider or pumpkin spice?

A: Pumpkin spice!

Q: Pumpkin pie or apple pie?

A: Apple apple apple!

Q: Red, orange, and yellow or yellow, white, and orange?

A: Yellow, white, and orange.

Q: Scary costumes or cute costumes?

A: Definitely cute.

Q: Your favorite part about fall is…

A: The chill in the air, promising that snow is just around the corner.

Q: A football game or football shaped cookies?

A: Since football is less interesting than watching paint dry, I’m going with cookies.

Q: Favorite fall outfit?

A: A cozy sweater and my favorite pair of jeans, with some fuzzy socks.

Q: Do you love the colors or the scents of fall?

A: The scents.

Q: Pre-made fall crafts or DIY ones?

A: The one Emily is wearing here.

Okay, that’s alll for the questions!

I have decided to tag The Blogging Sisters and AG Doll Adventures and Lizzy!

Have fun, you guys! Your questions are . . .

  1. What is your favorite color of leaf – red, orange, yellow, green, or brown?
  2. Have you ever done a fall photoshoot?
  3. What is your favorite doll sweater?
  4. What is your favorite part about Thanksgiving? That is, assuming, you live in the US.

Q: What one thing can you not live without? (Besides the necessities)

A: Books! BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!

Q: Would you rather be an adult your whole life or a kid your whole life?

A: Wow, this is a really hard one. I’m going to have to say a kid, because you have less responsibilities.

A: I think this was pretty much covered in the one thing you cannot live without question. XD 🙂

A BIG Announcement + The Blue Sky Tag

First off all, let me explain why I’m breaking my own rule and posting on a Sunday. I have a very good explanation – I have a BIG announcement.

It’s that time of year again!

(Waits for applause) Why is no one clapping?

Seriously, guys, start clapping. It’s almost NOVEMBERRRRRRRR!!!!!! Which means NANOWRIMOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Okay, if you’ve never heard of National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo (or just NaNo), it’s a worldwide event that happens from November 1-30. Writers from all around the world commit to writing 50k words starting at the stroke of midnight on November 1 to the final seconds of November 30. It’s a really, really huge deal. I did NaNo last year and didn’t get to 50k, but I learned A LOT. After NaNo was over, I took a break for a few months, but then realized that my novel was not done. Not done at all, friends. Last spring, I worked for hours and hours and now that very same novel is almost 70k.

This year, I’m writing the sequel!

So, what does this all have to do with why I’m posting on a Sunday?

I’ve committed to posting twice a week, as usual, during November – though I will be noveling at the same time. In order to do this, I’ve been working very hard on writing/photographing ALL of my posts for November and scheduling them – and all of October while I was at it. Oh, and don’t worry, guys. I won’t be gone from the Web entirely – I will still read your posts and comment and reply to comments. I’ll just have less time to do that because of NaNo.

It took me a lot of time to figure out what posts I was going to publish when, so when Jenna from The Blog Dolly tagged me for the Blue Sky Tag, I had a slight moment of panic. All of my posts were ready to go for October and November – when and where could I fit the Blue Sky Tag in? I decided to do a random Sunday post and work it into my announcement.

So, without further ado, I bring you . . . The Blue Sky Tag!

The amazing Jenna nominated er, tagged me (why do I keep writing nominated???).

The rules for the tag are as follows:

1.Thank the person who tagged you

2. Answer their 11 questions

3. Tag 11 people

4. Give them 11 questions to answer

She is asking me these questions:

1. What is the current color of your bed comforter?

It’s orange, white, and hot pink. It’s brand-new, actually. My main comforter that I picked out two years ago is turquoise and purple, my fave colors. But it needs to be washed and that’s why it’s not on my bed.

2. What is the coolest craft you have ever made?

I have these letters that spell out my name that are hanging above my closet.

3. How many times have you tried out a sport then decided you hated it?

Oh, goodness. First off all, I would have to say soccer. This was when I was about five and I DESPISED it. It was always FREEZING where I played. I wanted to be a cheerleader when I was five, so I would always go off the field and cheer for my teammates instead of actually PLAYING soccer. Then, when I was about eleven, my parents forced me to take karate lessons. The instructor was the meanest person I have ever met in my entire life. He was a big believer in corporal punishment. He ripped a stripe off of someone’s belt (an eight year old, I believe) just because he couldn’t do this one move exactly perfectly. Then, when I was twelve, my mom wanted me to do swim team, which took me a long time to get used to but I actually wound up liking it (after a lot of complaining, though . . .)

4. What is the current scent of your body wash and what brand? ( Don’t know why I asked told one guess I just couldn’t think of anything else!😝)

I just use soap but my shampoo is from Garnier Fructis and it’s called “Curl Nourish.” It is made with coconut, jojoba, and macadamia oils. It smells really good and makes my hair very soft. I love it!

5. What was your first word as a baby?

Dog.

6. How often do you change your favorite item/ theme? Right now mine pineapples!!! 🍍

I don’t really have one. I kind of like the Eiffel Tower though. It’s been the Eiffel Tower for a couple of years now.

7. How often do you change the look of your hair? 💇

My hair and I have a love-hate relationship. I used to wish I could just brush it out and put in a ponytail (which I actually did), but my mom said not to because it’s curly. I was a ponytail girl for years, but now I wear it parted on the left side and just finger-comb it.

8. If any, how many AG dolls do you have?

I have seven: Crystal, Lindsey, McKenna, Morgan, Emily, Molly, and Grace. I always list them in that order because that’s the order I got them in. Just in case you were wondering.

9. How many times have you cried at the movie theater or any movie? And what movie was it?

I cried when I saw Epic.

10. What is the current weather condition where you live?

Right now it’s 34 and partly cloudy.

11. How many times have you done a tag? This is my first, so I am super excited!

Hmm, this is my fourth time.

I am tagging . . .

Samantha @ AG Doll Awesome

Ava @ Ava’s Pokémon Blog

Emma @ Dazzling Dollies

Okay, people. Seriously. I can only think of three bloggers who I haven’t recently tagged. Not eleven. Sorry!

Their questions are . .

What is your favorite season?

What is your favorite article of clothing?

Do you like doing laundry? (This is a really random questions, but I love doing laundry.)

What are you going to be for Halloween? (If you do celebrate Halloween, that is. I don’t.)

Does it snow where you live?

What is your favorite blog post you have ever written?

When did you start blogging?

Do you prefer baths or showers? (Another random question.)

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Do you like bunnies?

Which one of your features do you like the most? (Hair, nails, eyes, etc.)

Okay, that’s about it for now! I guess I’ll see you all tomorrow. Sorry for all the confusion. Oh, wait wait wait wait wait. I have a request to make. I really hope I don’t sound rude, but could you please not tag me until December? Don’t get me wrong, I really appreciate it when people tag me, but I have nowhere to fit tags in for the next month and a half. I LOVE  it when people tag me. They are super fun to do, but I just won’t have the time to do tags – or write any posts in general this month. It’s going to get a little crazy!

Bye for now!

-AGs in Alaska-
